10 Celebs Who Survived Hacking Scandals

Living in an industry populated with stories of Paris Hilton’s leaked photos, you’d think celebs would have quit taking nude selfies altogether.

When you are a famous celebrity, with every minute detail of your life put under the scanner, we wouldn’t call clicking risque selfies the brightest idea of all time. While for some, a nude scandal would have sent their career into reverse gear, here’s a list of ten celebs who had their nude photos hacked and lived to tell the tale:

Scarlett Johanson
Back in 2011, Scarlett unfortunately had her bathroom selfies meant for her then-husband Ryan Reynolds hacked and published to the Internet at large. Although we don’t think that the hacker was around long enough to see the aftereffects of his work seeing as he was arrested and locked away for ten years.

Vanessa Hudgens
And she isn’t alone. A nineteen year old Vanessa had her phone hacked and the photos contained in it leaked; her fondness for storing graphic selfies on her email account serving no other purpose but to the further the cause of good Disney girls gone bad.

Christina Aguileira
A press statement released by the singer at the time of the scandal claimed that she meant her photos to be shared only with her stylist. Technically, they did reach her stylist’s computer. Along with thousands of computers around the world, sadly.

Blake Lively
Living up to her bold onscreen persona, Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively sadly had her personal photos hacked. First Scarlett, now Blake. Raise your hand if you’re starting to believe that being Mrs. Reynolds is jinxed.

While she was expecting her first child, Jessica found herself on the target list of a hacking group and sadly had private pictures featuring her topless with her tiny baby bump leaked.

Even the Duchess of Cambridge is not immune to scandal, but the royal couple threw a royal fit when topless photos of the Duchess were splashed over the cover of a French magazine without her consent.

Miley Cyrus
Back in 2008, ten queen Miley created a stir when photos of her posing sans clothes in a hotel room surfaced over the Internet. Ironic, really. Had the photos been leaked now, we doubt anyone would have batted an eyelid, seeing as the girl regularly distributes topless pictures for magazine covers anyway.
